Lowerpro and other camera bag manufacturers make bags and backpacks used for traveling with a good amount of professional camera gear. Even Dakine makes a nice backpack that is dedicated to camera enthusiasts. The Burton though may have the most unique styling. It comes in black or roasted brown camo and is available at numerous online outlets for about $129, although I have seen it for less.
Overall Burton makes great backpacks and if you love cameras or are a pro photographer, then this one might be for you.

686 and Levis Strauss have leaked some photos of their upcoming snowboarding outerwear line. The collaboration is called 686 X Levis. 686 makes some of the best outwear available and Levis has been around forever, so I am sure this will be a great product line. The new line will be available Fall 2008, ready for this years snowboarding season.
Available June 1st, these Troy Lee Signature Oakley Gascans are sick. Famous designer Troy Lee paints racing helmets, cars, motorcycles and now sunglasses. These custom designed Gascans look great, the only downside, is that they run $175.

Here are some shots of the new Dunce t-shirt from the Alphanumeric Spring 2008 collection. They cost $30 at multiple stores online including Tactics.

I'm not sure if I would call this boardshort "controversial," but it definately is not a "safe" print. This RVCA style features artwork from PM Tenore with an all-over cross print. The fact that it is called the "Sin" boardshort definately generates more questions than it answers. Besides the print, this is actually a pretty cool boardshort because it has a small pocket built into the front waistband that is perfect for your dough. There is also a more traditional cargo pocket on the side. It is made from a soft supersuede fabric with a patch logo and zipper fly.
RVCA must think very highly of themselves, charging $62 seems a bit ridiculous, but then again if you have to have them there is nothing you can do but pay up.

There are a lot of Oakley Gascan marks out there, I know four or five people that swear by these glasses. I personally think Oakley had fallen off, style wise, a couple of years ago. Now they are definitely back in the game with all kinds of people marking Gascans in a variety of cool colors and lenses. My next pair of sunglasses will probably be these.

This is the new Nixon 51-30 PU, it costs $370, which is a $70 price bump over the base price, just for the black color. The price may be higher, but so is the tightness factor. I threw in a picture of the 51-30, essentially the same model with a steel bracelet, after the jump. That one costs $400, which is $50 more than the base model price.
The movement is Swiss with a tide function. The case is water resistant to 300 m and has a hardened mineral crystal, external rotating bezel with countdown timer and a screw down crown. I would have liked to see a sapphire crystal, considering the case is a massive 47 mm wide which means the crystal is around 43-45 mm wide, so it is very prone to scratching.

Five cool belts from Nixon, only $29.99 a piece over at Boardco. They feature a custom-cast enamel or wood filled removable icon buckles. One and a half inch wide split grain leather is used with a pigskin backing. Nixon is embossed on the tip.
RVCA is one of those companies that can't do anything wrong. From their super soft ringspun tees to knit hats they do it right. Six panel new era twill hat has allover calligraphy style print is like no other shirt you have. RVCA logo embroidery completes the package and gives it that little bit of extra flair.

Here are some tight looking jackets and jeans that should be coming out late summer to early fall. Rats, Japanese brand designed by Tetsu Nishiyama of WTAPS, is collaborating with Neighborhood to design these and other pieces.
Matix makes jackets, boardshorts and jerseys that are pretty tight. They are sick because the brands can put on intense appliques that they do via laser cutting which is a relatively new technology. The full court is ready for balling made from a 100% poly mesh with contrast fabric in the side panels. It has a radical front applique and small patch logo.

Billabong has a such an incredible boardshort line that one might overlook this style, but don't. It is like a new take on the Rising Sun style. The name "Tornado" really does this puppy justice. It is made from an all-over swirl printed supreme suede fabric. There is no side seam that would interrupt that print. Billabong pays attention to details like the contrast pocket stitching behind the welt cargo pocket. This is a great looking boardshort that is bound to get noticed.

O'neill is relatively new to the jersey game but it sure doesn't show. They bring their quality workmanship and design into every garment they make. Boardshorts to belts, they do it well. This particular one is made of 100% polyester with mesh panels and applique embroidery patches. Old english font never goes out of style and neither does O'Neill, get some!

[ BUY Under Armour ]
Under Armour recently started selling athletic shoes for training. To promote the Proto Evade Trainer (pictured above) they say "Stop training in running shoes". This is actually an accurate statement about many people I see at the gym including myself, we are training in running shoes. I used to have a pair of Nike cross-trainers that were probably my most comfortable shoes ever, but they looked big and ugly, so I have since purchased many pairs of running shoes. This is where Under Armour has solved a problem, their new trainers look like running shoes but feel like trainers. The model (pictured above) costs $80 and you can purchase them at Finish Line and Sports Authority as well as UnderArmour's website. They look great and I have read reviews saying they feel great, so I am definitely going to try them out.
The Nike® Air Max Tailwind 2008 men's running shoe is loaded with all the latest cushioning technologies. It features an Air Max unit in the heel and forefoot for full-foot comfort. A waffle outsole delivers excellent traction on a variety of surfaces, while the breathable mesh upper with thin, supportive overlays delivers an excellent fit.
