Audi Sportscar Driving Experience

[ via Audi ]

Audi offers a driving school called Audi Sportscar Driving Experience. The introductory course costs $295 for two hours and includes an S8, RS4 and S5. I have driven all three and they are some of the funnest cars I have ever driven, but with speed limits it is hard to realize their full potential. The R8 two-day coarse costs the most at $3500. I have driven many Audis and I can assure you that whatever experience you select, it will be fun.

Porsche Design P'5510 Running Shoes

[ via Porsche-Design ]

These are some pretty nice shoes designed by Adidas for Porsche Design. I could not find a price, but if they are affordable and fit well I may have to get a pair. I generally only buy Nike Air/Shox, but in this case I think I can make an exception. These shoes use the Bounce S cushioning system. It utilizes metallic springs to increase energy return, kind of like the Nike Shox.

Never mind about me buying them, I just found out they are approximately $400. I will have to stick with the Nike Shox.

MV Agusta Brutale Italia Edition 910R

[ via Autoblog ]

I do not know how much the new MV Agusta Brutale Italia Edition costs, but I bet it is worth every penny. It is in my opinion one of the best looking naked sportbikes on the market. MV Agusta is like the Ferrari of motorcycles. Ducati makes a couple mean naked bikes, but they look much more tame than this one. I do not ride a bike, but this is kind of product that makes me want to learn.

TAG Heuer Night Vision Sunglasses

These new TAG Heuer Night Vision glasses are another great addition to their popular eyewear line. The lenses were developed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans to increase contrast during night time driving. They will be available to the public soon. Hit the jump for the official press release.

TAG HEUER EYEWEAR INTRODUCES
NIGHT VISION: THE DRIVERS ESSENTIAL

(Boonton, NJ...March 2008) – A revolution that can be appreciated on the track as well as on the road – TAG Heuer "Avant-Garde" Eyewear has developed innovative glasses exclusively for drivers. Aptly named "Night Vision," these glasses correct the low-light short-sightedness that everyone endures from twilight to sunrise. "Night Vision" eyeglasses optimize precision and enhance perception of contrasts for more comfort while driving at night. Featuring "TAG Heuer Reflex-type" flexible temples, they are adjustable and fit comfortably under motorcycle and racing helmets.

Originally inspired by and developed for the internationally renowned 24 Hours of LeMans sports car endurance race, TAG Heuer Eyewear plans to market their purpose-made "Night Vision" eyeglasses via real racecar drivers. You'll see them on Formula One racer Sebastien Bourdais and Indianapolis 500 driver Sarah Fisher. These innovative glasses will be available to the public in early 2008.

The titanium Night Vision frames are available in both Wide and Panorama, with anti-slip elastomere arms. Their pale yellow lenses offer constant clear, sharp vision with a very high light transmission rate in order to contrast dark blue and green surroundings without changing color perception. The special ophthalmic lenses offer an anti-reflective treatment, which reduces glare and offers more accurate sight. A driver's essential: these glasses are designed to maximize performance from dusk to dawn.

TAG Heuer – maker of high-end sports watches and chronographs since 1860 – has been applying the same standards for design and quality found in their timepieces to the creation of exceptional eyewear since 2002. All TAG Heuer Eyewear lenses are shatter-resistant, ultra-light and provide 100% UV-A and UV-B protection.

Baselworld 2008 Sneak Peak

[ via Professional Watches ]

Check out this SlideShow Preview of BaselWorld 2008.

Sneak Peak: Audi 2009 A4 3.2 V6

Here is a sweet shot of the 2009 Audi A4 from the Frankfurt Auto Show. This 3.2 V6 A4 does not have the 18 inch S-Line wheels, but it definitely has the Sport Package. Click here for more photos. I have driven the Audi S5 and A5 which are based on the same paltform as the new A4. The 355 hp 4.2L V8 FSI S5 motor was excellent, but the 3.2L V6 FSI motor was a little under-powered . I cannot wait to drive the new A4 2.0T this Fall, especially considering it will have at least 210 turbocharged horsepower.

Porsche Design Writing Instruments by Graf von Faber-Castell.

[ via Porsche Design ]

Here is one of the pens from the new Porsche Design Writing Instrument collection. I like the fact that Porsche has decided to make products other than cars. Their cars, appliances and watches are all great products. They use Bosch to make their appliances, Eterna to make their watches and now Graf von Faber-Castell to make their pens. The prices are not as bad as you may think.
