Jaguar Concept Car

Here is a very nice looking Jaguar Concept car. I hope Ford has no say in this one.

2008 Infiniti G35 Concept Coupe

Automobilemag

Check out these sick ass pictures of the 2008 Infiniti G35 Coupe. I hope it looks just like this and I really hope they add AWD as an option. I assume it will have a 306hp V6 motor like the recently redesigned G35 Sedan.

Patek Phillipe Nautilus Moon 3712

Professional Watches

According to Kronosblog.com, this specific Patek Phillipe Nautilus model is one of the rarest of them all. I guess the 3712 model is more rare than the 5712, although I am sure there are many Patek watches that are more rare.

VW Tiguan Concept

I am by no means a fan of VW, but this new concept car looks pretty nice. I think they should put an Audi badge on this one first. With a price of $24-$35k I guess the Audi would be fairly pricey, but I think a lot of buyers will not even consider a VW.

The compact SUV category gains another entry for 2008 with the introduction of Volkswagen’s Tiguan concept at the L.A. auto show. The Golf/Rabbit-based concept is pretty close to the real thing according to VW insiders, and will host a wide range of powertrain combinations.

Most importantly, however, is VW’s new, 50-state-compliant 2.0-liter diesel, which was shown in the concept and will later spill over to the 2008 Rabbit and Jetta, as well as the production Tiguan. This four-banger lays down 140 ponies and an impressive 240 pound-feet of torque. Other engine selections should include the current 200-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and 280-hp 3.6-liter V-6. Tiguan’s peculiar name arrives compliments of some 350,000 readers of Germany’s Auto Bild magazine, who elected Tiguan over four other equally strange titles. The name is a fusion of the words “tiger” and “leguan” (German for the word “iguana”) and sounds more like the cute fuzz-ball sleeping in the window of your local pet-store. Pricing of the Tiguan is reflective of that nickel and dime death trip to the pet-shop with base starting around $24,000, climbing quickly to the mid-30s with all the necessities.

Franck Muller's Aeternitas Version II Perpetual

Professional Watches

Franck Muller's new Aeternitas Version II Perpetual Calendar wristwatch has a world-first indefinitely functioning year indicator along with an east and west press button 24 hour function. Two time zones utilizing a 24-hour hand are placed either side of the tourbillon at 5 and 7 o’clock and can be set by pushbuttons on the side of the case. The time zone indicator on the right is conceived for travelling eastwards and therefore moves one hour ahead at each press of the corrector on the right side of the case. The time zone indicator on the left is designed for travelling westwards and therefore moves back an hour with each press of the corrector on the left side of the case. Just above the tourbillon at 6 o’clock, is the year indicator which functions from 0 to 999 and then continues along its merry way indefinitely. Now that’s a world-first.
